    Starting Monday, April 6, we will begin providing our Grab and Go meal service ONE day a week from 10:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Mondays. Students will receive five days worth of meals. The Van Wert pick-up location has changed to Van Wert Middle School door #M36. The Ohio City location remains the same at the Ohio City Village Hall/Utility Office (North door of the council chambers). For those interested and have not already done so, please click here to complete the pre-order form

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
GRADES K - 12

 

New students enrolling in the Van Wert City School District will register at the Central Office located in the Goedde building at 205 West Crawford Street in Van Wert anytime Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Please contact us with any questions at (419) 238-0648. 

 

Preschool students can be registered by calling the Van Wert Early Childhood Center at (419) 238-0384.


KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR

The registration of kindergarten children attending Van Wert City Schools for the 2020-2021 school year will be held March 2, 2020 to March 13, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Superintendent’s Office in the S.F. Goedde Building. 

 

If your child is new to Van Wert City Schools, we will need the following at the time of registration; a copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunization record, and in case of divorced parents, a copy of the child custody court order, and proof of residency.

 

Those who want their children to attend kindergarten at Van Wert City Schools, but live outside the district, should plan to register at the S.F. Goedde Building as well.  Open enrollment spaces can be limited. 

 

To attend kindergarten a child must have attained the age of five by August 1st.  No student shall be admitted to first grade who has not successfully completed kindergarten.

WORK PERMIT FOR MINORS

1. Minors must have a physical before they begin work. (If an athletic physical is on file, this will suffice and you do not need to submit another.)

2. Minors must fill out an application for each employer they intend to work for, whether working multiple jobs or changing employers.  

3. Please return completed forms to the High School office.
